OVERVIEW & CONCEPTS

The InfoDial Database Integration feature allows you, the Web Author, to have complete control of all the powerful database functions you need in order to have a dynamic database-driven website. With InfoDial Database Integration you are able to build Web pages that allow you to:
  • Search your database sort and return the resulting data in by index(s) to dynamically create Web pages on the fly (see: DBSearch).

  • Add database and update database records (see: DBModify).

  • Delete database records (see: DBDelete).

  • Use SQL to define custom Data Sorting and advanced data control and display (see: Using SQL).

  • You can also set up input forms that can be used to accept information from customers at your website, forms for registration, survey, product information/availability/contact requests, contact management/remote contact management updates and much more (see: DBStore). When someone posts information to the database from your Web pages you will also be able to capture their IP Address, and the exact date and time they completed their post. With the advanced custom email applications that tie into the Database functions every part of an email can be custom-formatted and sent out as well as posted to the database (see: Database Email functions).

  • You will be able to use many of the most popular database formats because InfoDial provides support for Legacy databases such as Access 95/97/2000, Paradox, dBase I/II/III, Excel, Text, FoxPro, and more. The support for your database is pre-built into your website so you can begin your database development the instant the database and webpages that use the Database features are uploaded to your website (see: Supported Database Types).
